Eye Level
SMLC (Stella Maris Learning Center) is a solution for the students’ needs of a Learning Center in school. It is also as parent’s partner to dig up and develop children’s potencial. The programs offered in SMLC are adjusted to the needs of each students. The benefits of SMLC to the children development are:
- SMLC take an important role in the development of both academic and non-academic, and so the students can achieve the accomplishment.
- SMLC facilited the students with the responsible lesson and independence of each students.
- SMLC help the students to sharpen their logic and systematically think, and be creative in problem solving.
- SMLC help to determine the students’ tutoring based on the children’s need.
- Developing the students’ self-confidence and optimizing the students’ development.
Eye Level is a learning program competency-based on Basic Thinking and Critical Thinking. The learning methods given are applied based on the children’s perspective as to build a strong foundation in both mathematic and english lessons.
Mathematic Curriculum:
In the Mathematic Curriculum of Eye Level students are taught how to think critically through the reasoning skills such as sorting, comparing, planning, hypothized and analyze that can be apply in the daily life. By completing the Mathematic curriculum in Eye Level, students will overcome the basic arithmatic and be able to mathematically, besides students also be able to develop their concentration, have a good habits of learning and increases the self-confidence.
English Curriculum:
The English curriculum of Eye Level program is following the standard of American Curriculum Education Department (USA). This program guide students to expand their english skills through the thematic approach, repeated practice and the strategy to combine the hearing, speaking, reading and writting skills all together.
